Alice wears overalls when she’s not wearing fancy dresses; sometimes it’s a bit of both. She is blonde and wears engineer boots. Most of modern civilization, both good and bad, is her fault.
Bob is dead.
Dean has been reformed into another one of Sarah’s helpers, though he is very recalcitrant and still doesn’t understand a lot of what she is trying to do; all he knows is that it will probably benefit him in the long run. He has black hair and tends to wear whatever Sarah gives him; it’s usually a tan camelhair jacket, tan pants, and a red tie. He has a tendency to lie, and has gotten very good at it.
Fern had brown hair, wore gray pants and shirts in a loose cut, hiking boots, and broad-brimmed hats. She loved to cook, but has since been taken care of.
Josh may or may not have won the human game. Ever since then, he has been searching the world for more ways to win it. He tends to either wear monastic robes or military uniforms, both of which he has earned. His hair is blond, but tends to be shaven close to his head.
Letty invented art by drawing in the mud with a stick; she has since become Sarah’s trusted helper. She has a drawn, quizzical face, wiry read hair, and tends to wear anything, so long as it has pinstripes.
Pino-chan is the part of Zoe that Sarah tore out of her, to make it so that Zoe could be part of the human game. Pino-chan is bitter and sour, and has a lemon instead of a human heart.
Red Adam seems to be made entirely of bloodstained terracotta, but is in fact completely human; he invented it.
Sarah has frizzy dark-brown hair and an incessant smile. She wears red mary janes, horn-rimmed sunglasses, and vests and shorts in denim. Anything can be Sarah, but Sarah has chosen to only be human, so that she may walk among the children of men.
Zach does not let himself be seen; sometimes one can see the glint of an eye, a silvery tooth, or a weapon. He is very careful to not let himself symbolize anything.
Zoe has dark hair and a cool eye-patch. She dresses in dark colors, jackets, and boots. Sarah claims that Zoe invented cynicism; Zoe claims that it has always existed, and that she merely discovered it. She created Zach, and cares for Pino-chan. She is bound weakly to the human experience.
